  • Equipment specification, design & build, consultancy (£1.6m project)
  • Engagement with business & industry in the field of energy / renewables
  • Industry-academia research & development collaboration and external tech-transfer in:
  • Combined Heat and Power ,Trigeneration,  Novel engine concepts ,Bio-energy, Renewable heat & power
  • Specific work in CHP, Micro-CHP, Biomass, Liquid biofuels, Biogas (AD and Biomass Gasification) 
  • Consultancy with over 75 companies in past 18 months 
  • 4 Regional Seminars delivered on: Biomass, Gasification, CHP, Renewable Heat Incentive

  • MSc. Materials Engineering (Northumbria 1998)
  • HND Mechanical Engineering (Northumbria 1985)
  • BTEC 3D design (2003)
