Postgraduate Study
The Swan Centre ’s mission is to support interdisciplinary research, and we bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines whose work focuses on energy. This allows us to offer unique opportunities for postgraduate study on both taught and research programmes.
We have a friendly postgraduate atmosphere with an innovative and dynamic interdisciplinary research culture, which includes strong links with industry.
Swan postgraduate students are based in the Swan Centre but, depending on your chosen area of study, you will also work with one or more of our partner Schools, providing you with a unique and personally designed training and supervision programme.
Facilities
- Modern open-plan office environment in the award-winning environmental Devonshire Building.
- Access to a full range of chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and marine engineering laboratories.
- Dedicated desk and PC facilities for each student within the Institute or partner school.
Our Science, Agriculture and Engineering Graduate School provides training in professional/key skills and research techniques, supports personal development, and hosts postgraduate events.
