The Centre plays a valuable role in terms of delivering postgraduate training.

Renewable Energy Flexible Training Programme (REFLEX)

The key aims of REFLEX are to provide fully integrated engineering design focused training to ensure a high level of understanding of the renewable energy technology sector.

This taught MSc programme is accredited by the Energy Institute, IET, IMechE, and IMarEST and has been extremely successful since starting in 2005.

This programme is designed to be highly flexible allowing students to study renewable energy either full-time or part-time, while continuing to work. It provides employers with the opportunity to:

  • improve effectiveness and competitiveness;
  • gain knowledge of new and advanced technologies;
  • motivate and retain staff.
