Environmental Sustainability Awareness Presentation for Staff Induction
This presentation is an introduction to local environmental sustainability awareness, centering around Newcastle University's efforts to reduce its environmental impact, and how you can help.
The presentation is to be presented to staff by Environmental Co-ordinators, however if you require a member of the Sustainability Team to give the presentation please let us know. The presentation can be customised to suit the school / service / institute / unit's needs - please pick out the slides that are relevant to your local area. Please read the accompanying notes before presenting these slides.

Guidance Documents
The following general guidance documents have been created. Building specific guidance can be found below.
Heating and Cooling Guidance is available in the form of small posters and stickers located next to radiators (TRVs) and temperature sensors - educating staff on their functions and how to use them. General guidance on heating and cooling issues, like what to do if you are too hot / cold, or notice a fault in the system, is included in the Electrical Heating Guidance document, available to download above.
There are several new buildings on campus which have environmentally sustainable features, such as motion sensor lighting. In order for you to get a better understanding of these buildings, we have produce the following guidance documents.

A guidance document for the Baddiley-Clark building is currently being created and will be available here soon.
Induction Pack Resources
The induction pack contains environmental sustainability information for new staff and students. The content provides an overview of environmental sustainability at Newcastle University, as well as covering examples of the current posters on campus, guidance documents, and lab specific information.
