Space and Project Works Requests

Before submitting a request contact the appropriate Estate Faculty Coordinator who can advise on the Faculty's forward strategy and give guidance on the completion of the enquiry form. For Central Services requests contact the Estate Planning Team for guidance.

The Space and Project Request Working Group (SPRWG) will consider all requests and where appropriate make recommendations to the Space Utilisation, Monitoring and Arbitration Committee (SUMAC). Approval of all space related requests will be either through delegated powers or formally through SUMAC. In conjunction with SUMAC, the team are responsible for the University's space management.  The constitution of SPRWG consists of the following:

  • Estate Planning Manager (Chair)
  • Estate Planners
  • Estate Faculty Coordinators
  • Property Manager
  • Timetabling Services Manager

Once submitted the Estate Planning Team log all requests and the Estate Planning Manager, in conjunction with the Property, Improvements, Maintenance and Capital Projects Managers, will allocate the appropriate team to resource and progress the enquiry.

Any space and project enquiry must be completed electronically (Microsoft Office Word format) and submitted to your Faculty Coordinator for endorsement. For Central Services requests please submit to space-project-enquiry@ncl.ac.uk.
