Light Bulbs and Fluorescent tubes
Energy efficient bulbs and all types of discharge lamps (such as fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescents, compact fluorescent energy savers, SONs, Mercury, Metal Halide and others) contain various substances (e.g. mercury, lead, cadmium or sodium) which are potentially hazardous and/or damaging to the environment.
Please ensure all these types of bulbs are disposed of as WEEE.
Conventional filament bulbs can be disposed of as general waste.
