Waste Audit 
In April 2010 a waste audit was carried out in 30 buildings across the campus. This was carried out by students of the MSc Clean Technology course run by Dr Sue Haile.
The purpose of the audit was to identify how much recyclable material is still entering the General Waste stream.
As a results of the findings, recommendations were made to improve the uptake of recycling on campus. Many of these recommendations led to the development of the 'Let's Recycle More' campaign, currently being rolled out across the University.
