A centenary celebration of Benjamin Britten

Songs of Benjamin Britten, including a selection from the intense, post-WWII settings of the Holy Sonnets of John Donne, the rarely heard Six Hölderlin Fragments, and Cantitle I My Beloved is Mine. There will also be a sample of Britten's highly personal realisations of songs by Henry Purcell.

James and Ronald will also be appearing in the INSIGHTS' Public Lecture, 'Britten and the voice', given by Professor Eric Cross at 5.30pm in the Curtis Auditorium, Herschel Building.
