An exploration of links between Italian bad-biy poet Gabriele d'Annunzio and the Pre-Raphaelites he admired: Stephen McNeff's settings of d'Annunzio's Madrigali dell'Estate are complemented by Vaughan Williams' and Parry's settings of Rossetti, with other controbutions from Stanford and Quilter.

King's Hall Music : Voices of Hope
Simon Fidler (director)

Voices of Hope is a small choir based in the North East. Despite forming just over a year and a half ago, the choir has already performed on BBC Radio 3, competed in the BBC Choir of the Year competition, and performed at local venues, including The Sage Gateshead.  The choir will sing a cappella works from the 19th and 20th centuries, including motets by Bruckner, Brahms and Stanford.
