The three lectures will be given by members of the University's Institute of Neuroscience and will focus on some interesting ways the brain works and can go wrong.
In "MY BRAIN AND I: Where am I?" we will describe our senses and how they help us to understand the relationship we have with our environment.
In "MY BRAIN AND I: Who am I?" we will explore aspects of consciousness, personality, social cognition, feelings and thoughts.
In "MY BRAIN AND I: I Robot" we will look at new technology that enables us to enhance brain function or restore function in cases of injury or degeneration. Each lecture will be illustrated with practical demonstrations which will involve you and your brain.
