The Sun provides us with our energy, heat, light and other radiation invisible to to the eye. We will explore the many faces of the Sun using images obtained by astronomers. The Sun is far away, but material from the Sun strikes the Earth's atmosphere giving rise to beautiful phenomena like aurora. We will link these ideas to some experiments which demonstrate magnetism and its effects.
