Our Sun is just one of many stars which make up the Milky Way galaxy, and there are many other galaxies out there in space. These galaxies contain stunning and beautiful clouds, exploding stars and menacing black holes. We'll see how the galaxies are moving apart as a result of the big bang at the beginning of the Universe and look at the evidence for it all around us.
