In this talk we will find out about the Earth and other planets. How do satellites stay up? What stops us falling off the earth? Using a huge pendulum we will show that the Earth rotates and we will link to some radio signals from outer space. Are there other planets out in space? Is there life out there? Should we get in touch with them?
