Reserve a Place
All Insights public lectures are free to attend, however, you may be asked to reserve a place at selected lectures which we expect will be particularly popular.
For lectures where we anticipate a high demand, an overspill lecture theatre will be in operation. Please note that we are unable to operate a separate booking system for the overspill theatre, and therefore booking does not guarantee the availability of a seat in the main auditorium.
Seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis in both the Curtis Auditorium and the overspill theatre. Tickets will not be issued for these events, but you will be asked to give your name upon arrival at the venue.
For these lectures we ask that you are seated 5.20pm or your place(s) may be reallocated. We ask that you let us know if you no longer require your place(s) by emailing us at public.lectures@ncl.ac.uk.
Individuals may reserve up to four places per lecture. For group bookings, or school parties please contact the Public Lectures team on 0191 222 6136.

Grayson Perry: 15 November 2011 – Unfortunately, all spaces at this lecture have now been allocated. Occasionally some spaces become available on the night of the lecture as a result of last minute cancellations. If you have not been able to book a space for this lecture, you are welcome to turn up on the night for the chance of a stand-by seat. Please note that we cannot guarantee that seats will be available.
