Professor Nick Wright - Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation
Professor Nick Wright is a leading expert in the field of nanotechnology and nanofabrication. He joined the University in 1994 and prior to this appointment was serving as Director of the University's Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology and Dean of Business Development in the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering with responsibility for the Faculty's third strand activities. He has also been the Science City theme leader on molecular engineering. Professor Wright will be tasked with providing academic leadership to strengthen Newcastle University's reputation as a leading research-intensive University, and help to maximize the economic impact of its intellectual capital. He will also have specific responsibility for Science City.
