Would you like to know how you store food and where you store your fat in your body?
Are you aged 40-70 years? Professor Roy Taylor is looking for healthy volunteers to take part in this study.
This will involve only three visits to the Newcastle Magnetic Resonance Centre, Campus for Ageing and Vitality. The first visit is to assess suitability for the study by a simple blood test. The second and third visits involve a MRI scan to measure fat and glycogen (carbohydrate) stores in your liver, pancreas and calf muscle and a blood test.
All expenses will be paid.
