User Registration
It is essential that all University users:
- Register with the core facility.
- Sign the BioCOSHH declaration on the user registration.
- Have initial instrument training from a member of the core facility staff.
For details of the registration process, ask any member of the core facility.

Working Hours
Find out about our Core Facility working hours.
Flow Cytometry core facility hours are:
09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday
Requesting staff support
Flow Cytometry support is not available on University or bank holidays.
Within normal working hours
Liaise with the appropriate core staff member. Arrange a mutually convenient time for the support you require.
Outside normal working hours
You may need to do work outside of these hours and require core facility staff support.
In this case, contact us to discuss your needs. We aim to accommodate any reasonable requests.
The normal instrument cancellation policy does not apply outside of normal working hours. Charges will be incurred as soon as the instrument is booked.
