This exciting Chinese independent film festival is the first ever UK branch of the Beijing Independent Film Festival and will showcase the latest works from Chinese indie filmmakers. See details of the Festival's programme and the films here.

Three of the four documentaries we show will be UK premieres. The admission to all films is FREE. All you need to do is register.

There will be a Q&A session with the director Zheng Kuo after the screening of his film "The Cold Winter" (via skype), and Dr Luke Robinson from Nottingham University will give the opening speech.

The Next Life (dir Fan Jiang)

Beijing Besieged by Waste (dir Wang Jiuliang)

The Cold Winter (dir Zheng Kuo)
