The schedule is flexible so that you can plan the day to best suit your needs. Many of the formal talks are repeated and activities run across the afternoon so you can drop in at any time. Pages 2 to 4 pr ovide a good overview of the event schedule, but please do just ask a member of staff if you need further information. Staff are easily identifiable via their red fleeces! If you are not already based within the region, we recommend that you take time to explore the welcoming and lively city that is Newcastle. The bustling shopping arcades of Northumberland Street and Eldon Square are only five minutes’ walk away, or you can catch a bus at Haymarket station for a short ride down to the Quayside where you can see the famous Tyne Bridge, the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and The Sage Gateshead music centre.
