The University has available a small number of Overseas Research Studentship (ORS) awards for outstanding students to pursue PhD or masters/PhD studies. Applicants must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study in the Faculty and must be self-funding (at least partially) or hold a studentship from a UK charity. The award will cover the difference between the relevant international student fee and the fee for a UK/EU student. It is essential that applicants have an identifiable source of funding for the remainder of the fees and subsistence expenses. Awards will be for 3 (PhD) or 4 (masters/PhD) years, with annual renewal being subject to satisfactory progress.
Please see University ORS Scheme for further details and an application form.
Please contact Professor S.J. Yeaman (Director of International Postgraduate Studies) firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
The deadline for 2015/16 NUORS awards has now passed and the criteria for 2016/17 awards will be posted in October 2015.
