Support the work of the University by making a donation to the Annual Fund.

Payroll Giving

If you would like to donate on a monthly basis to the University’s Annual Fund then payroll giving may be the best option for you.  It allows you to give directly from your pre-tax salary which means you will not pay tax on any donations you make to the University.

  • If you are a member of staff at the University, we operate a ‘Give As You Earn’ scheme which allows you to make regular monthly tax free deductions. Our Payroll Office will make the deductions from your gross pay each month until you specify otherwise.  Please fill out a GAYE donor instruction form to send to: Payroll Office, Level 4, King’s Gate, Newcastle University, NE1 7RU.  For more information on GAYE visit the GAYE website.
  • If you are a graduate, member of the public or friend of the University, the donor instruction form above can still be used if your company operates a GAYE scheme through CAF.  It will need to be sent directly to your company’s Payroll Office.  Please note that not all employers will use CAF, so to find out more please visit Payroll Giving Centre or contact your Payroll Office directly quoting our charity details below:
