Geography at Newcastle is a major research area that occupies a strategic role in integrating research across the social and natural sciences and the arts and humanities. Core to what we do at Newcastle is a passion for research that makes a difference beyond the academy.
We undertake and disseminate research of the highest international standard and have a longstanding international reputation for policy-relevant research for diverse local, national and international audiences.
All academic staff at Newcastle are research active and contribute - together with our diverse postgraduate community - to our strongly international and interdisciplinary research culture.
