Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)
The AHRC competition offers postgraduate funding for certain areas of GPS research including some areas of: political and social philosophy, cultural/historical geography, political history, area studies.
Applicants interested in applying to the AHRC should contact us as early as possible, usually no later than February of the academic year preceding entry, with an expression of interest and a broad outline of their proposed research topic.

The closing date for AHRC funding applications is 5.00pm 1st March 2012.
