Founding and Current Series Editor (contracted to 2016), “Rethinking Globalizations” book series, Routledge. This series now has over 40 volumes in publication and several currently under review. The series publishes on average several new titles per annum. Among recently published titles are: Arab Revolutions and World Transformations, edited by Anna M. Agathangelou and Nevzat Soguk (for which I was Commissioning Editor of the special issue of Globalizations journal which this volume reprints); China’s Development: Capitalism and empire, by Michel Aglietta and Guo Bai; Global Governance and NGO Participation: Shaping the information society in the United Nations, by Charlotte Dany; Edges of Global Justice: The World Social Forum and its ‘others’, by Janet M. Conway; A History of World Order and Resistance: the making and unmaking of global subjects, by Andre Drainville; and Migration, Work and Citizenship in the New Global Order, edited by Ronaldo Munck, Carl-Ulrik Schierup and Raul Delgado Wise.
Founding and current Editor (contracted to 2016) Globalizations journal, Routledge, Taylor and Francis. The journal publishes six issues per annum. I am the journal’s Commissioning Editor for all special issues, and I commission at least 3 special issues for publication each year, and these are currently commissioned through 2015. The latest special issue is entitled “Land Grabbing and Global Governance”, (Vol 10, no 1, February 2013), pp. 1-209, edited by Matias E. Margulis, Nora Mckeon, and Saturnino M. Borras Jr. (I worked closely from conception and planning stage onward with the editors on this special issue) ; the previous special issue was Vol 9, no 6, December 2012; “Social Movements, The Poor and the New Politics of the Americas”, edited by Havard Haarstad, Mark Amen, and Asuncion Lera St. Clair (originating in an international conference on this theme hosted by the Kiran C. Patel Center for Global Solutions, University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida,USA, for which I was co-initiator and co-organizer, with the editors of the special issue.
