The Centre is a partnership between Newcastle and Durham universities and is funded by the Wellcome Trust. The Centre is fully supportive of the study of the History of Medicine and provides a number of resources.
Newcastle students may take part in courses and seminars provided by staff from the History and Philosophy of Medicine and Science department at Durham University. They can also use the specialist library resources provided by the Centre.
