Welcome to the Postgraduate Forum!

The purpose of Postgraduate Forum is to provide a means for postgraduates in the School of Historical Studies at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne to promote their research and work. This is achieved through our lunchtime seminars, annual conference, and E-Journal. For a listing of our upcoming events see the links above.

In the fortnightly LUNCHTIME SEMINARS postgraduates present their current research to the lively postgraduate community. Held in the Beehive (Old Library Building) the lunchtime seminars provide a good opportunity to meet and discuss research with others.

The annual CONFERENCE is traditionally hosted in May or June and aims to provide a friendly and forthcoming environment for postgraduate papers from all over the northeast.

The E-JOURNAL'S primary purpose is to provide postgraduates with the opportunity to publicise their work to the wider academic and public communities. We believe that exciting new research deserves an audience, and we aim to provide the stage.
