Dr Maria Brosius
Reader in Ancient History

Research Interests

Dr Brosius teaches ancient Greek History and the History of Ancient Persia. She specialises in the history of the Achaemenid empire, but also pursues research in the history of the later Parthian and Sasanian empires. Her particular interest is the link between the ancient Mediterranean and the classical world
