Introduction and Responsibilities

I work for the Human Nutrition Research Centre (HNRC). The HNRC is a cross-faculty research centre with approximately 80 members of staff/students that sit within 4 institutes (Ageing and Health, Health & Society, Cell and Molecular Biosciences and Genetic Medicine) and the School of Agriculture, Food & Rural Development.

I act as Personal Assistant to the Head of the HNRC, Prof. John Mathers, as well as being Lead Secretary for the HNRC. This involves a wide range of administration support for the 16 Principle Investigators and the HNRC as a whole.  Some of my other responsibilties include: organising and providing administration support at meetings and conferences, managing databases, the HNRC Website, HNRC Virtual Research Environment (VRE)

This job is a part-time role and my usual working days are: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
