Payscales
These are the main categories of payscale available:
- Common
- the common payscale currently in use, grades A to I.
- Clinical and Allied to Medicine
- includes payscales for roles such as Clinical Consultants
- Non Clinical Professorial
- applicable to non clinical Professorial staff.
- Obsolete
- payscales that are no longer in use but are available for reference.

National Minimum Wage
The adult rate, applicable from 1 October 2011 to those aged 21 and over, will be £6.08 per hour.
