Positive about Mental Health

As a Mindful Employer, the University is a signatory to the Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health. We recognize that at least one in four of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our life. We are committed to removing any stigma attached to mental health issues and to supporting staff through these difficult times. A Line Managers' Resource provides practical guidance for managers supporting staff with a mental health condition.

Dignity at Work and Study

For information on the University's Dignity at Work and Study policy and the support available, please see the Diversity Website.

Family Friendly

A number of family friendly policies relating to maternity, paternity and other parental leave, flexitime and flexible working, can be found in a separate section.
