Innovative new seating design launched on Campus for Ageing and Vitality
An innovative new range of outdoor seating which has been produced primarily as “well designed” seating for all with a focus on being inclusive of the needs of older people was unveiled to members of VoiceNorth at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality on Thursday 3 March. The prototype seats have been positioned outside the Ageing Research Laboratories.
We would like to encourage everyone to give the prototype seat a try and send us your feedback using our online form to enable us to refine the design.
The seat was designed by Butters Innovation and manufactured by Miko Engineering in consultation with members of VoiceNorth, the public engagement panel coordinated by the IAH. Funding was provided by Design Network North.
