Newcastle University Centre for Brain Ageing and Vitality supports world-leading research to answer key questions posed by an ageing society. By focusing on how intrinsic ageing plays into the pathogenesis of age related frailty, disability and disease, the Centre will deliver new approaches to increase understanding of human brain ageing and the importance of lifelong "fitness" to health and wellbeing in later life.
