Research Interests

My primary research interest is the age-related decline in cellular protein homeostasis, particularly involving the ubiquitin/proteasome system. In vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches are being used to explore how the decline in protein degradation contributes to ageing and age-related diseases such as neurodegeneration and lung cancer.
