Introduction

General leadership and management role in the development and running of the NIHR Dementia and Neurodegenerative Diseases(DeNDRoN)Coordinating Centre and provides senior management advice and support to Directors, Associate Directors, Network clinical leads and managers.

Responsible for service and operational delivery of the DoH DeNDRoN contract and provides management functionality to deliver on the key priorities of DeNDRoN, namely meeting the needs of industry, delivering a balance portfolio of dementia research and supporting the whole DeNDRoN research network, and required to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the Co-ordinating Centre.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic and operational management of the DeNDRoN Coordinating Centre’s core activities and plan, develop and implement strategy for organisational development for the Coordinating Centre in order to meet the developing needs in dementia research of the University, NIHR and NHS.
