ICM Ageing Research
Work on ageing in the Institute concentrates on the common underlying mechanisms of chronic disease and how interventions like exercise, anti-fibrosis drugs and immunotherapy can improve the quality of life for those with these illnesses. Our researchers make a large contribution to the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre for Ageing and Chronic Diseases.
