We offer a choice of postgraduate courses at the Institute of Genetic Medicine.
One Year Programmes
MRes Medical Genetics - a more general one year full time taught course, with a single 20 week research project which may be undertaken at the Institute of Genetic Medicine.
MPhil - a one year full time study on a single research project.
Three Year Programmes
PhD - Three years full time study on a single research project.

This includes a series of short recordings of counselling sessions involving a combination of actors and volunteer patients. These were written and produced by Professor Sir John Burn of the Institute of Genetic Medicine, supported by visiting Professor Anne-Marie Gerdes from Copenhagen and the TV team of Newcastle Biomedicine.
