Thanks to a series of major infrastructural awards, notably
from the Wellcome Trust, BBSRC and the development agency One NorthEast the
Institute of Genetic Medicine is extremely well equipped for carrying out molecular
genetic, cell biology and developmental biology research. Our major facilities are
