·         Alcohol risk and harm in later life: A review of the literature, mapping of current services and qualitative interviews with older people. Working directly with Age UK South of Tyne and Wear and South of Tyne and Wear Primary Care Trust.

·         Randomised controlled trial, economic and qualitative process evaluation of domiciliary welfare rights advice for socio-economically disadvantaged older people recruited via primary health care. The DO-WELL Trial. (Including embedded qualitative study)

·         Development and evaluation of an 'exergaming' intervention to target cardiovascular and quality of life outcomes in a deprived area of the North-East. (Including embedded qualitative study)
