I am the holder of a Department of Health Researcher Development Award which is enabling me to undertake a PhD to study the methodology, ethics and professional, patient and carer engagement in acute and hyperacute stroke research. I am undertaking this work in the Stroke Unit at Freeman Hospital. My lead supervisor is Dr Madeleine Murtagh. Other members of my supervisory team include Professor Gary Ford, and Dr Stephen Louw, Dr Helen Rodgers and Dr Tim Rapley.
