Background

I have been a Data Manager here in IHS since 1993 and during that time I have worked on many diverse projects.  I have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and have developed many applications to administer and collect reseach data.  With the introduction of the EU Directive I have become familiar with other databases which fulfil the current reglations.  I have also extensive experience of using SPSS for data cleaning and statistical analyses.

Islet Cell Transplantation

hypoCOMPASS - Prevention of Recurrent Hypoglycaemia: a Definitive RCT Comparing Optimised MDI and SII with or without Adjunctive Cony=tinuous Glucose Monitoring. 

DMD Heart Protection trial- A double-blind randomised multi-centre, placebo-controlled trial of combined ACE-inhibitor and beta-blocker therapy in preventing the development of cardiomyopathy in genetically characterised males with DMD without echo-detectable left ventricular dysfunction

PIL-FAST - Paramedic Initiated Lisinopril For Acute Stroke Treatment (PIL-FAST): a pilot randomised controlled trial

INVESTIGATE-I  - INVasive Evaluation before Surgical Treatment of Incontinence Gives Added Therapeutic Effect?): a pragmatic multicentre pilot study to assess the feasibility of a future randomised controlled trial.
