My principal research interests are the management of infertility in primary care, fertility preservation for cancer survivors, introducing new technologies in primary care, particularly open access investigations and how they become routinely embedded in the clinical consultation. Additional research interests include smoking cessation and complex interventions.
My research experience includes the use of multiple research methods in health care evaluation including managing a pragmatic cluster randomised controlled trial and conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews. I have been involved with an independent multidisciplinary working group tasked with the implementation of a fertility referral blueprint and the Department of Health 18 week fertility care pathway.
