Statistics

The Institute of Health & Society Statistical Group employs a number of highly skilled statisticians to support the research, teaching, engagement and statistical advice responsibilities of the Institute and the Faculty.  There is a discrete group of statisticians within the Institute but other statisticians are embedded in research teams. 

This group have experience across a wide range of statistical techniques which they use to provide statistical support to projects as well as advice to academic and clinical colleagues in the university and the Trusts through the Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit and the Research Design Service North East.
