Congenital anomalies in the offspring of women with diabetes

Women with diabetes are at high risk of a pregnancy affected by congenital anomaly. This project used linked data from the Northern Diabetes in Pregnancy Survey and the Northern Congenital Abnormality Survey to quantify the risk of congenital anomaly and identify risk factors associated with congenital anomaly in a large cohort of pregnancies in women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
