From March 2009 to February 2012
Project Leader(s): Professor Louise Robinson
Sponsors: NIHR Research for Patient Benefit

This project will explore how best to implement Advance Care Planning within the NHS, especially in situations which may be more challenging such as in dementia when people may have communication and memory difficulties.

The project includes a systematic review, to synthesise best evidence on ACP from other countries, and a qualitative study with focus groups and interviews with relevant stakeholders.
