Mark Warwick

Background

I'm a senior NUIT computer technician in the Faculty of Medical Sciences and provide IT assistance to administrative, research, academic and PhD students within the Institute of Health & Society. IHS have locations in the Baddiley-Clark Building, William Leech Building, the Campus for Aging and Vitality and the Sir James Spence Institute in the RVI.

My main responsibilities are providing 1st line support for all hardware and software issues, the configuration and deployment of new systems, procuring new equipment and the administration of IHS staff and machines. This is achieved through the use of Active Directory, PowerShell and other management tools.

I started work at the university at the beginning of 2005 in the then Centre for Health Services Research at 21 Claremont Place, moving to the Baddiley-Clark Building with IHS in March 2010.
