Newcastle University is home to a diverse and cosmopolitan community with over 4,000 international students from over 110 countries worldwide.
The University has strong links in India, currently there are over 230 Indian students studying at Newcastle University across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Some of the more popular programmes at undergraduate level are: Medicine, Business-related programmes, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and at Postgraduate level; MBA, MRes Medical and Molecular Biosciences, Industrial and Commercial Biotechnology.
The International Office visits India at least four times a year to meet with students across the country, conduct presentations and to meet with careers advisory staff.

We are pleased to offer the Newcastle University India Scholarship award for programmes commencing in September 2015. The Scholarships have a value of £5,000 payable towards tuition fees for undergraduate Bachelor’s programmes, and £3,000 payable towards tuition fees for postgraduate Master’s programmes.
