We are delighted that you are considering studying at Newcastle and hope to welcome you to the University in the near future.
The University has strong links with South Korea and we currently have 50 South Korean students studying on English Language, exchange, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Some of the more popular courses taken by South Korean students at undergraduate level are Business, Management and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, and Biomedical and Biomolecular Biosciences programmes. At Master’s level, our Art, Museum and Gallery Studies, Applied Linguistics and TESOL, Cross Cultural Communication and MBA programmes are of particular interest to South Korean students.
Newcastle University Students' Union has over 200 societies and sports clubs for you to choose from. These include cultural societies such as the Korea Society and the International Society. See if your area of interest is on our A-Z list - if not, we can help you start a new society when you join us!

Representatives from the International Office and academic schools visit South Korea regularly to visit our partners, meet with students across the country, attend education exhibitions and conduct presentations in the offices of both the British Council and education agents. Our latest travel plans are on our exhibitions and visits page.
