Pre-Arrival Information
We are delighted that you are preparing to join us here in Newcastle - and we're certain you have made the right choice!
When you receive your offer of a place at Newcastle, we will send you pre-arrival information with details of our Welcome service and a copy of our International Student Handbook.
Don’t forget that if you have family or friends who have been to the UK or Newcastle itself, they should also be able to help with advice – make sure you take advantage of their experiences!
Another great source of information is your nearest British Council office.
The British Council often offers briefing sessions for students about to leave for the UK, it's worth finding out if your local office will be holding one. You can also download the British Council pre-departure guide (PDF: 1.46MB).
If you still have any questions or concerns - please don’t hesitate to contact us at the International Office for further information and guidance. We do regularly visit countries from around the world and conduct our own pre-departure sessions. You can contact us to see if we are visiting your country soon and book your place on one of our sessions.
