University Term Dates 2009-10:

Autumn: Monday 21 September to Friday 11 December 2009
Spring: Monday 4 January to Friday 19 March 2010
Summer: Monday 19 April to Friday 11 June 2010

University Vacation Dates 2009-10:

Christmas: Saturday 12 December 2009 to Sunday 3 January 2010
Easter: Saturday 20 March 2010 to Sunday 18 April 2010

UK National Holidays 2009-10:

Many businesses, including the University, will be closed on these days.

  • Christmas: 25 and 28 December 2009
  • New Year's Day: 1 January 2010
  • Easter: 2 and 5 April 2010
  • May Day: 3 May 2010
  • Late Spring: 31 May 2010
  • Late Summer: 30 August 2010
Time Changes:

There are two time changes each year – make sure you aren’t caught out! On the last Sunday in October, the time is moved back by one hour, and on the last Sunday in March the time is moved forward by one hour.
