Foundation Programmes
The Foundation programme is a pre-university course designed to bridge the gap for international students between secondary school and undergraduate studies. The programme gives international students a level of academic preparation comparable to UK A-Levels and ensures that students meet the minimum English language requirement for entry to their chosen undergraduate degree programme. In some circumstances, students may be able to enrol on the Foundation programme in order to change their specialist subject. The programme combines academic study, intensive English language preparation, study skills and a cultural orientation.

INTO Diploma in Business
The INTO Diploma in Business is a full-time academic programme, which is equivalent to studying the first year of an undergraduate degree and prepares you for direct entry to the second year of an undergraduate degree in Newcastle University Business School.
The Diploma in Business is suitable for international students who have completed A-levels, a recognised Foundation programme or for students who are already in the first year of a relevant undergraduate degree but do not meet the requirements for direct entry to Newcastle University Business School.
